Winter is a difficult season for a number of reasons but one thing that I will take from it, is that you can catch a sunset much easier! When the sunsets at 4o’clock, you can be sure to catch it before you head home for the day and on this occasion, the sunset was really something special.
After a day of strolling around St Ives, we headed around the bay to Godrevy on the way home, just in time to embrace that golden sunset. With the sun setting on side and the moon risen the other, it was genuinely an evening (afternoon?) to remember.
Godrevy is one of the best spots to watch the sunset in Cornwall. With the lighthouse as a centrepiece, surfers out embracing the last light and too many spots to get the best view that you have to keep running around and grabbing a photo in all of them!
