There’s nowhere more inviting than a bedroom or a cosy lounge at an Artist Residence and I have now been fortunate enough to visit my second Residence in London at Cambridge Street Kitchen. I’ve been to their Penzance spot a few times and have been staring lovingly at their images on instagram to get to the other offerings.
We headed in for brunch on a chilly winters day and were delightfully put in the corner surrounded by cosy cushions and the perfect view of the kitchen and the passers by outside.
Their brunch menu is wonderful, as you could expect of course! I opted for the berry pancakes and added bacon as choosing between sweet and savoury is clearly too big of a decision so always opt for both. They were possibly the most amazing pancakes I’ve ever eaten and I am exceptionally sad to say I couldn’t finish them all but boy do I find myself dreaming about those left overs pretty frequently!
After brunch, I popped downstairs to the loos and had a cheeky look around their lounge rooms and stood in awe of the decor. If I could pick this setting up and plonk it straight in to my living room, oh I would!
