Postcards From Newlyn, Cornwall

Newlyn was an unexplored town for me until this year, a small fishing port situated between Penzance and Mousehole, it’s a delightful little place and exports a lot of fish throughout the world still today. It’s actually home to one of the largest fishing ports in the UK and boasts a forty metre harbour, pretty impressive right?

We headed to Newlyn whilst on a little West Cornwall tour and I was first attracted by spotting the beautiful coffee stop called Lovetts. Based in Newlyn, this coffee and wine joint is a delightful place to stop off. I loved everything about it, from the branding to the decor and most importantly the fresh donuts!

If you’re in the area, I would highly recommend a little stop off here. Be sure to check out Lovetts and get there early to see if you’re lucky enough to nab one of the Beige donuts on offer! There’s also a beautiful fish restaurant for at night in a tasting plate style.
