Valentines Cocktails With Cranes Liqueur (ad)

I am an absolute sucker for a new beverage brand on my radar. From fruity flavours to an entrepreneurial beginning, when Cranes got in touch to share their Cranberry & Blood Orange Liqueur to spread some Valentines cocktail inspiration, I was all ears! The Cranes empire was brought to life by twins after leaving university and exploring the healthy side of Cranberries. Before they knew it, Cranes was born and they are now the proud owners of a beverage brand boasting an array of cider, gin and liqueur. Here’s my Valentines cocktail recipes for you to try on the big day, whether you’re celebrating with a partner, giggling with your gal pals or just having a cosy night in alone – no matter what the occasion, these will be putting a smile on your face!

For my first cocktail, I opted for something sophisticated yet fun for a little pre-dinner spritz. Served in a tall flute glass and a nice light taste to start the evening.

1 part Cranes Liqueur

4 parts Prosecco

To garnish: sugar rim, lime and rose petals.

A super simple cocktail to throw together whilst dinner is cooking! dip your glass in a cup of water to wet the rim and place it lightly upside down in a small bowl of sugar. Add one serving of the Cranes Liqueur and top up with a prosecco of your choice. Garnish with a lime to the side and rose petals on top.

Shaddock’s G & T

Something for the evening to sip on during a film or a little box set session. A beautifully fruity cocktail with a citrus kick.

1 part Cranes Liqueur

1 part gin

6 parts tonic water

1/2 squeezed pink grapefruit

To garnish: Grapefruit, rosemary & crushed ice.

Begin with crushing a tray of ice with a rolling pin and add to your glass. Add one part of the Cranes Liqueur, one part gin of choice and top up with tonic water. Add a healthy squeeze of pink grapefruit (careful of the pips) and stir lightly to combine. Add rosemary, a wedge of grapefruit and a straw to garnish.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the cocktails I created alongside the Cranes Cranberry & Blood Orange Liqueur. I am a massive cocktail fan and I love nothing more than a fruity flavoured liqueur which can be accompanied by an abundance of mixes to fit the cocktail to your event.
